Google for a device called "killowatt" and plug it into the PBX during an average load period (the phones each use some power) and it will tell you exactly how much juice it uses and you can plug that into APC's UPS calculator to determine which unit you need to buy. That is the only way to be sure.

I have a client that want to know how much UPS he should buy to support the phone system for 3-4 hours. I don't have a KSU here at the office and cannot find specs on the power. I know the 824 shows max at 1.5 amps. Anyone already go through this? Thanks, DJ _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
