So tell us, did you turn the XDP port ON so it will be separate from the digital? I think that may be 600 in programming. That will separate the analog from the digital port. A better way that to set ringing to immediate for Fax machines is to simply send the CO line 7 using DIL in programming to the analog extension. Don't forget to do both day and night programming. You should also place that line in a different trunk group from the other lines say group 8 and then isolate that trunk group in automatic lines in programming so when people dial "9", it won't catch that line.
