Had something similar to this happen once. The KSU
and station wiring were punched into 66M blocks which
were near a furnace. Over time, this must have 
deposited just enough _conductive_ debris that the
wiring for one station would short out. Naturally,
only in certain weather, only after I'd leave the
site, etc...  I replace the punchdown block and
no problems for one month. I later replace all the
66 blocks and rigged a cover for the area.
