Voicemail Transfer is a two step process.
One button is set VTR to 165, You press that first, then you press the
extension number or DSS for the extension.
You have to tell the VTR button where the voicemail is. When you set VTR
105, you're telling the system that voicemail is connected to 105, not what
you want.

Subject: KX-T: Voice Mail Xfer
> I have a KXTD 1232-3 with a TVS200. I programmed our DSS/BLF (7440) for
some buttons to have voice mail transfer on them. I programmed the DSS unit
from Ext. 101 which is attached to this unit. When I try transferring a
call by pressing say button 1 on the DSS unit (which is Voice Mail box 105 -
I think it says VTR 105) I hear dial tone and the calling party is placed on
hold. It is acting more like a flash key. I want to be able to send
callers directly to voice mail without sending the caller to an exten. that
is call forwarded to voice mail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
