My condolences to anyone who may have had friends
or relatives hurt in the despicable incident's that have occurred in your
country.
I have two small problems with a TVS50 and I am
sure these have been answered in other query's.
The customer is using custom menu 2, as an
intercept (165) which is fine. The problem is how to get rid of the two prompts,
"Good Morning" and" Welcome to the Voice Processing System" before the main
message.
Problem number 2.
The system is using DDI on ISDN with caller ID and
all that is working perfectly. The problem is Caller ID getting into the
voice mail.
Each time a user clears the messages they are
getting the calling number which is a PITA, because these users are power users
to the max and having to listen to the phone number all the time is wasting
their time and they want it turned off.
Watching the online monitor I can see the ID info
coming from the system.
So does anyone have any ideas on how stop caller ID
getting to the TVS50 either from the phone system or blocking at the
VM.
What has been a dream sale and install is fast
becoming a horror site due to this feature.
If anyone has any ideas I would be very glad to
hear.
