KX-T: SLT parallel with PT on 1232D

I have two customers with KX-T1232D.  One is -3 and one is -4.  Need to connect a SLT parallel with a PT and have BOTH ring on incoming call.   The PT is a 7030 and the SLT is to be an answering machine.   The manual says it can be done and is set in program 100. I see number 52 with default 39.  I tried it with the 39 and without the 39 but would not get a SLT to ring.   I tried in Oleg's program to put a 39 in Flex numbering for that jack. no go!.  I also tried removing the 39 from the line 52 code column.  no go!   Is this something that has to be programmed from a DPT directly?   All thoughts are greatly appreciated.   Bob Bruskin Halstead Electronics Ltd.
