When you tried to go through the modem, you had to change the pc's port =
settings to use the modem, did you set it back to the direct serial =
port?
Also, if you can connect to the tvs, see if you can use the same =
settings and program (Hyperterminal) to read SMDR output from the 1232. =
If you get output from the ksu, then the problem is probably in your pc =
settings.
