I have a KXTD1232-3 that I have been programming for
several years with either Oleg's Programmator or Panasonic's DOS based software
via a null modem cable and the RS-232 port. I did some programming several
days ago and everything was working fine. Today I tried to set up an
external modem to do remote programming following Oleg's instructions and using
his recommended cable wiring. It didn't work so I tried to go back in with
Programmator via null modem cable to recheck the port settings. I am not
able to connect with either Programmator or the Panasonic software. I have
checked the port settings from the system programming phone (program 806) and
they are fine. The computer and cable still connect to the TVS100 so they
are apparently fine. Cycling the KSU off and back on didn't resolve the
problem.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to clear this
apparently frozen RS-232 port.
Thanks
