That's a good idea.
The second mail box could try to deliver to both cellphones since the delay
is mainly for the beeper tech to be able to call back. If the cell doesn't
answer, it doesn't need to call back.
Since the message is copied to the second box, they only need to retrieve
messages from the first box, it could then delete itself from the second box
after a few days so the box doesn't fill up. That would give them a back up
message incase someone deleted the main message by accident.

Always thinking Jim, that's a good sign.

Now I'm also considering giving them a battery backup but they would like to
be notified if the power goes out, so they could turn on manual call
forwarding (telco feature) to their cell phone. I envision an alarm type
voice message dialer that could get triggered by the power outage (relay) it
could call their cell phone with an appropriate message (Someone would need
to go to the office to turn on the telco forwarding)... or have it
automatically dial the call forwarding command on the main line, then dial
again with a message that the line has been forwarded... am I stretching
too far?
