Rick,

Are you setting the delay answer from in the TVS? don't do it that way if
you are.
If you want night mode to answer immediately, set it to DIL 1:1 for each
line to 165.

Also, in the trunk groups menu, you need to set the Intercept Routing for
day and night to ext 165 (set it per trunk group). That way calls that are
unanswered will get routed to the TVS.

If you want a delayed answer during the day, set the Intercept Routing TIMER
to the number of rings you want it to pick up at. I usually set systems to
4 rings.

Keep the TVS delay answer to 0.
If you want night mode to answer at a different time delay than the
intercept routing is set at, then you may need to use the TVS delay
settings, but most people don't need it.

Charles

Subject: KX-T: TVS50 wont't answer

> Thanks to one and all I decided to hook up my KXTD1232 at work along with
my current TVS50 replacing my old analog 616 PBX. I think I got the
integration between the 1232 and TVS50 ok, I was able to reach the TVS via
ext 165 or 166. However the TVS would not answer any calls. I had it set
up with a day and night mode. Night answer with a custom service almost on
the first ring. Day mode was a different custom service answering after 30
seconds. Why is the TVS not answering any calls?
