Thanks, can I propose my services? (I've already done it :) )
Great to have you here and welcome :)
About myself: I'm contributor to the KDE translation, I'm the coordinator for
Mandriva Romanian's translation (since 2008), and now moved also to Mageia (I've
translated the website and blog for now). Since there's no job yet for Mageia
and I've finished the Mandriva translation, I'm currently available to take the
challenge and the responsibility of a new project. LibreOffice is one of my
favorites and that's also because it'll be the main Office suite for Mageia. So,
it'll be nice to get be both translated in time :)
Which are the tools used and where I do get an account to get started?
Pootle for the l10n repository: you can work with .po or xliff files, as
you like. For the site we use a CMS named Silverstipe which is very easy
to use.
You'll find the first information here
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Translation_for_3_3
but this process will change a little once we will work on the next
version (we are as young as magiea here ;)
Add your name to this table please too:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language_Teams
and under the table you'll find how to get ro.libreoffice.org site
running :-)
Don't hesitate to ask if you need any help.
BTW, yesterday I've sent a mail to Alexandru Szasz asking him if he
would like to jump in because he was the former OOo localizer, so if you
know him well, you maybe wants inform him.
I'll propose my services for LibreOffice's GUI, website and blog. Later on wiki
and the documentation.
Ok so lets see later for that. And we will also migrate the wiki to
language subdomains, so no need to rush here.
If you need a mailing list dedicated to exchange in your language with
your team, just let us know.
Kind regards
Sophie
