Gaelic doesn't have a word for this either (yet). I suspect it will end
up being something along the lines of "fog edges" rather than feathering.

Just curious, how "feathering" is translated into your languages?

This word does not presenses in any dictionaries and we are to make an
dicision:
1. Do not translate, use "feathering"
2. Use another word so that people can understand
