you should be able to upload, without a login (at least I succeed in doing
that), it is only committers who have a login. Your upload is stored as a
suggestion until a committer makes a review and accept it to the database.

So from what you write you did the correct thing, many people are attending
apacheCON in germany, which might be why you have received no answer. I
have not seen any other mails from you on this list.

What also often happens, is that people send mail to the list, but have not
subscribed to the list, so the never see the answer, send an empty mail to:
[email protected]
