No, no problem. I think it's enough to be consistent. So if you have
them in Icelandic in 98% of the text, just leave them in Icelandic and
follow that convention (i.e., translate to Icelandic) for the
remaining 2% too. Italian, for example, has them translated too:

I believe that the "name" attribute is never displayed explicitly and
is used only for cross-linking, so it should be fine to leave it in
English, but localizing it won't harm. In your case it definitely
makes sense to translate it if the remaining 98% assumes it's translated.
