In fact, this is missing in main/scp2/source/ooo/module_langpack.ulf Can you please open a bug? Look at the other strings in http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/openoffice/trunk/main/scp2/source/ooo/module_langpack.ulf?revision=1413471&view=markup and suggest a new one. There are some that use only the language, others that use a longer string like "Installs <locale> support in %PRODUCTNAME %PRODUCTVERSION". > Once it installed, I hit the language settings to switch to Gaelic. > I can select it as the UI language but it is not in the Locale > Settings and Default Languages list. Again. I thought we'd addressed > this bug in https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=117857 ? as stated in https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=117857#c13 the bug is fixed on trunk, the fix was never applied on the AOO34 branch. The problem is that this release is only a respin, only translations where modified, no other bug fixes have been integrated; so it's up to the release manager if the fix is merged or not. (that said, IMHO it doesn't make much sense to release the language without the fix included). > The second one is a serious issue for any locale because it prevents > any proofing tool from working properly :( Regards -- Ariel Constenla-Haile La Plata, Argentina
