I confirm that the latest Pootle update was done on June 19, so the English SDF file you found is very likely the same version.
Pootle shows, for the UI only, about 250 untranslated words (not strings) and about 1800 words needing review. But, since you only use SDF files, it might be that it lags behind.
Juergen will be able to tell us more. In the meantime, using that SDF file should be OK.
