Does anyone have a good argument for why we should not remove this link from /download/other.html? http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html The text is "If your language is not listed here, it is very likely that the localization work is not yet complete as a ratio of 100% is mandatory. If you can help, please ask the localization (L10N) volunteers via Localization (L10N) mailing list." and then it links to a mailto: to send a note to the L10N list. This doesn't really help the user. If anything it suggests that we can magically do something to help them. The traffic we're getting from this is not new translation volunteers, but users looking for a download. Instead, I think we should just keep the link to this page, which gives the important background information: http://openoffice.apache.org/translate.html Regards, -Rob > Don > > > On Tue, Aug 27, 2013 at 9:54 AM, Sandra Sachinidou < > [email protected]> wrote: > >> download please >> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
