Fair enough. What I meant to indicate is that considering the small
installed base, this is not really an argument against BGP or in favor
of OSPF in this case.

L1VPN will be one of the important drivers I think. By when .. I do not
know. Already in research / GRID networks this is becoming an important
topic (these typically need inter-domain solutions btw).
