I tried it right now. The result is that ping's with a size of 972 go through and
ping's with 973 not. But this is a issue with my firewall, it blocks ip frags.

The stall is very strange. It is reproducable with the same file
(mozilla-source-1.6.tar.gz) only. Ethereal shows ppp packets consisting mostly of zero
and of type "unknon 0x0000". The mozilla file has a lot of zeros in the region where
the transfer stalls. Other transfers of that size go through.

And I see a lot of duplicate ack's. So it is more likely to be a issue with FreeBSD. I
will ask the guys there. But if anyone has an idea, please tell me.

Thanks
Markus
