Good day, I was able to compile the RPM by including patch0 and taking out patch 4 (no changes to the source were needed).
The error message I now get is: Jun 3 15:59:37 vpn1 pppd[21851]: no device specified and stdin is not a tty ... which produces a number of Google hits, a few with l2tpd. One of them suggested a small patch (I guess l2tpd is not passing the expected options?) although I am not positive if that is the cause here. Not sure if I went forward or backward with this change. =/ ============================ Darren Gamble Planner, Regional Services Shaw Cablesystems GP 630 - 3rd Avenue SW Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2P 4L4 (403) 781-4948 > -----Original Message----- > From: Darren Gamble > Sent: June 3, 2004 3:36 PM > To: 'Jacco de Leeuw'; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: VPN configuration problems - No more free pseudo-tty's > > Good day, > > Thanks again for your help.
