Well, you've answered your own question. On receiving an S-PMSI A-D route, V-spoke1 would have to send a Leaf A-D route to the root of the tunnel (as specified in the PMSI Tunnel attribute), rather than to the source of the S-PMSI A-D route. You are correct that this would require new procedures that have to be specified.
