Why does the trees glow around the edges of them in the sky?
Is that due to some sort of post process effect or HDR or something?

Weird.

Anyways, you should make the sky look very cloudy. That skybox you are
using makes it look like the sun would be out and melting everything in
sight.

Also, snow should be clumbed up near objects.
For instance, you shouldn't be able to see the bottom of the tree trunks.
Trees rest on the ground, not ontop of the very height of snow. Simply
lower the tree models so that it looks like a half a foot or more of the
snow is covering them. Should make it look really good.

Oh, and maybe change the texture on the trunks so that the moss is dead
instead of full green and thriving, though if you lower the trees, the moss
shouldn't be visible at all I suppose.
