To my understanding L4D2 has always been using Steampipe; they haven't
changed the distribution method since realease. And the tools have
continuously worked perfectly fine for me, so it might be something that
is broken on your end.

Hey
I finally found some time to fix things i have been planning for ages
and now when i try to start hammer, it just won't open at all. I did
all the things i could to get it open but no luck. Did Valve broke the
tools lately or is this due to Steampipe, which L4D2 isn't on yet?
