THE CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR profiles with singular grace and conviction the
amazing life of WW II veteran Desmond T. Doss, the only Conscientious Objector
ever to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Told through the eyes of
his fellow infantry men who once ridiculed and scoffed Desmond's simple faith
and refusal to carry a weapon, they now owe their lives to him. A beautiful
film that serves as a wonderful bridge for those on either side of war, this
stirring documentary of a true American hero is currently sweeping major awards
at film festival's around the country and promises to be an inspiring evening
you will never forget.
