Why demonize Islam in regards to this case? Bush and Delay are quite openly Christianizing the GOP. You need not look for theocracy on the Muslim Brotherhood model, when theocracy on the Christian Reconstructionism model of JR Rushdoony is so close to hand right here in the USA. Like the militias that believe if we restore the "Constitution," which allowed each individual state to establish a religion until the 14th amendment applied the Bill of Rights to the state, Christian Reconstructionists are the only Christian rightists willing to truck with the openly white supremacist "Chistian Israelites/Christian Identity" movement. (CI preaches that America was promised by god to the white man, that Jews are the spawn of Satan, and that peoples of color are sub-human. -- Michael Novick
