ACTIVISTS WORKING ON VENEZUELAN ISSUES TO VISIT LOS ANGELES TIMES;
TO ASK FOR MEETING ON PRESS COVERAGE
WHEN: MONDAY, JUNE 6th

Location: Los Angeles Times Building, 1st Street
A delegation of local progressive organizations and individuals,
including Sharmini Periez, a member of the Venezuelan government now in
Los Angeles, will be visiting the Los Angeles Times on Monday, June 6th,
at 11:00 AM for the purpose of seeking an educational and informative
meeting with the Editorial Board. The delegation wishes to discuss
issues inherent to Venezuela. The delegation is also planning to
deliver a letter to the LA Times during the meeting containing specific
points relating to the current situation in Venezuela.
