A really GREAT film is :"Everyone their grain of sand" It is only playing TODAY, Friday at 2:30pm at the Director Guild 2930 Sunset Blvd.
If you have the opportunity to see it, then GO see it. I saw it last night and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is an excellent example of how government harasses and stonewalls people and then talks about the "need to follow the law" which gov't officials make up as they go along. This community had paid for their land, but the government wants it to sell to a corporation. They do everything they can to get rid of the leaders in the community, including jailing one of them for stealing water! which most of the communities in the area including local businesses use for free. We could learn a lot about tenacity from this community in Tijuana. You will learn how you can help form the director who speaks afterwards.
