For those of you who would like to know what it was like at the Word Social Forum in Caracas, you will find some short films at this website (TruthOut)
In the first short, taken at the student's camp grounds, a young man says "..We must find new methods that work in a post Capitalistic world.." http://www.truthout.org/multimedia.htm A friend and I were on the trip to the barrio (the second film). When the driver of the first car says he did not tell the taxi driver where we're going in case he refused to go into this barrio - that's the taxi we were in. <http://www.truthout.org/worldsocialforum2006.shtml>Venezuela Day 3: Into the Barrio In the third film you will hear the voices of opposition to Chavez. Note how well dressed they are. In my opinion, what they are saying comes from ignorance. Chavez was elected by 70% of the people and they support him enthusiastically. Hear what Cindy Sheehan has to say about Senator Diane Feinstein. Interesting! A documentary will be made from the footage. Enjoy!
