Dear friends On March 7 in DC, the National Capital Immigrant Coalition, a coalition of 40 faith, labor, business, and community-based organizations from DC, Maryland and Virginia, is holding a RALLY and INTERFAITH SERVICE to protest anti-immigrant legislation (especially HR 4437, the truly frightening bill passed in the House in December) and to show support for our immigrant friends and neighbors, immigrant rights, and comprehensive immigration reform. Building on the successes we have had in defeating anti-immigrant legislation in the! General Assembly this year, lets make our voices heard in Washington! Communities from as far as Richmond and Norfolk are organizing to come to the Capital and show our strength and diversity your attendance is critical! Please, join us and bring your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, congregation members, and anyone else that supports immigrants and comp! rehensive immigration reform.
