Chapman University presents
"You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train:
The Work of Howard Zinn"
Chapman University is proud to present a series of
events focusing on the work of American historian,
political scientist, playwright and social activist,
Howard Zinn. In keeping with Chapman's 2006 academic
exploration of themes regarding human rights and
"ordinary heroes," presentations will examine Dr. Zinn's
efforts to advocate freedom, justice and peace both in
the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Zinn is known for his
outspoken opinions, groundbreaking writing, and
his commitment to the interdependent relationship
between education and activism. The series culminates
with Dr. Zinn's personal appearance at Chapman.
