The world IS cheering in the streets. Cheering that the fascist
corporate cabal of Bush Chenny is finally over

That a Black man, an international man, a thinking man, a humane man
has been elected.

The African America community in the US is rightfully enliven in celebration

And most others are grateful that a dirty, rotten slime is about to
be washed away.

Progressives though are rightfully concerned. Obama, most likely,
would have never invaded Iraq, never okayed torture, etc. but his
views so far are continuing to some degree the Bush policies. More
troops to Afghanistan, when all US troops should be removed from all
of the Middle East.

The Health Care Industry would be a hard target to crack and getting
a universal health care through, still a conservative congress
difficult but so far Obama just seems to want to move around the deck
chairs on a sinking ship.

His positions on some International issues, like Israel, Latin
America, etc are the same right wing slop.

And, among other issues is his choice for Chief of Staff, Rahm
Emmanuel , a very conservative Democrat.

The country is still in the hands of major corporations. The Oil
cartels still control our energy, The media is still corporate
dominated. Etc. etc.

And locally in California, while voting for Obama, the majority
voted to suppress the civil rights of one group of people, gays and
lesbians, which shows that nasty reactionaries tendencies still exist in.

So after we a few hours of rest, the revolution begins....................
