Congratulations to ALL, whether you participated in the election, voted for
Obama, or not.

I know that with the help and direction - not blind complacency as it was
customary for the last 40 years or so, and especially the last 8 bloody
shameful years - of an involved citizenry (as it ought to be) Barak Obama,
My President (not only the first Black President of the US but also the
first truly Elected President since 2000) will prove to be one of America's
greatest choices for that important office.

Even before the results were announced last night the anticipation of this
historic moment had already made a gigantic impact in the way the US in
general and American people in particular are viewed elsewhere in the world.
Despite ALL the safeguards by progressive organizations, election watch
dogs, and political groups that were set in place to make sure this election
too was not hijacked by the neo-cons, and evangelical right again, for the
third time, this was a great moment in the history of MAN. I have already
begun breathing a lot more freely, and the tension in my shoulder has
disappeared, since the announcement 7:30 PM last night that there was no
chance that we could have lost this election.

Now we just have to make sure Obama does not forget his promises, and
remember that he is everyone's President "including" corporation and big
business moguls; and perhaps with our help he will become even grater than
he already is in the eyes of many of us, and boy we are MANY.

A toast to you all and again Congratulations for this almost fantastic
achievement.

Cheers,

Ara

And now a few interesting words from John Sarkissian, my brother-in-law, all
the way from Germany.

Subject: The nightmare is over!

To all my American and non-American friends, to the entire world,

Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!

A new era has begun!

Today on CNN someone said something very beautiful:

"Rosa Parks sat so that Martin Luther King could march.

King marched so that Obama could run.

Obama ran so that the future generations can fly!"

All the best to all of you!

John
