A friend and I have been chatting, we got started on this again after I
sent him a lot of quotes, and he's known to be one of those people who
thinks, instead of just nodding his head and saying, that is a nice
quote....

I'm posting his comments on top, mine follow.

>From one of your ICH forwardings:

"The power of authority is never more subtle and effective than when it
produces
a psychological "atmosphere" or "climate" favorable to the life of
certain modes
of belief, unfavorable, and even fatal, to the life of others." -
Arthur Balfour

Would that be the same Balfour of the Balfour Declaration ?
How ironic !
I wonder if he said it after the Zionists had taken over Palestine and
produced tens of thousands of refugees.

P

Yes, that same man.

I'm trying to remember an interesting site I saw the other day, it was
talking about slime untrue accusation attacks in politics, and referenced
the Hamilton/Adams Jefferson elections, which immediately disenfranchised
most citizens, but the advertisements in the newspapers by Hamilton under
a pseudonym were aimed at only influencing the electorals, via pressure
from the masses who were the only voters once our Democratic system had
been revamped to only the moneyed could control who was in office, in
1784...... Note only a few states could elect their electorals. Today, we
vote, but our electoral cast the actual vote, hence no reason for a sworn
polling official to be able to see who voted for who, he gets his
information from a Corporate representative.

Ahh, here it is. Keep in mind the sources.... anytime your emotions get
really riled up, consider the sources, it is the most used trigger for
population control, and that's what sends me onto more research on the
inflammatory remarks, imbedded in with data I already know to be true. In
this case I followed the older links to who this guy blindly supports in
his writing, err, who pays him.

Washington and Jefferson, once was hero's of mine, bugged me, every
president we've had has waged a war of aggression for the accumulation of
wealth of those who already have the most. Bah on the reasonable reasons,
murder is murder. It is not glorious when you do it for your country yet
those who already have the most and are never in danger are the only
winners.

Rather interesting how early on a Country created for the Benefits of Big
Business immediately started using the tax payer funded military to use
force where ever business interests needed it.
