Sabino's history, was full of persecution because of his courageous struggle for the land of the Yukpa. His father was killed for the same reasons and last year, Alexander Fernandez was also killed by the same cause. Many Yukpa have suffered harassment and indifference by many in the government. Sabino had accused many times the complicity of local government bodies with area farmers, which did not suit them and his brave and just struggle for land of his peoples. Often denounced through this medium about the persecution and harassment of Sabino, but only official deafness was felt in this fight.
