In the midst of the struggle for justice for Mariano Ferreyra, and a police
riot in Buenos Aires just this last Friday ( see
http://english.telam.com.ar/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=18246:metropolitan-police-put-down-borda-mental-health-hospital-workers&catid=35:domestic-affairsMetropolitan
police attacked workers viciously as a coalition of health
workers and patients attempted to stop building of offices for city
government on land expropriated from the hospital, part of the land
speculation agreement between the mayor of Buenos Aires, Macri and the
"progressive" Cristina Kirchner government; tomorrow there will be a
general strike of public employee union ATE, as well as transport workers,
in solidarity and protest against the riot; will send longer article later)
I wanted to take this opportunity to send a warm revolutionary hug to all
the folks up there this May 1, and wish I could be in MacArthur Park with
you guys on that day.
We'll be thinking of all you folks in L.A., in international working class
solidarity, in struggle, at Plaza de Mayo on Wednesday.
