In May 1886 the US Supreme Court in Santa
Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad
set the dangerous precedent of affirming
that corporations should be considered
âpersonsâ under the 14th amendment.
Since then corporate personhood has been
extended and used to advance corporate
interests at the expense of meeting a wide
range of human needs. Come hear Judy Young,
J.D, and William Barrett, Ph.D., from Santa
Clara County Move To Amend. What can we do?
