RE: [Labradoodles] New to Group & Help with Breeding

Hi,   I am new to this list and I am interested in breeding Labradoodles.  I have an AKC female chocolate standard poodle.  I have always loved labs and before my poodle I had a lab mix that I rescued.  He had a great personality but his shedding was the pits.  I have been reading as much as I can on web about Labradoodles.  Can anyone else recommend any other reading or source of information?  I want to go into this the right way.  I am also wondering what I should look for in a stud.  My girl is chocolate with a mixed background.  I am thinking that I would like to go with a male that has a strong black background.  I do know of a black lab that is really pretty but his mother is brown and his father is yellow.  I think that I would wind up with mostly chocolate babies.    Any information you could pass along I would appreciate.  I look forward to getting to know you and your doodles!  J   Cori Yahoo!
