That's kinda how I felt too, that even if it were permissible, the drain on the mom, who after all is a beloved family member, would be difficult. We are not professional breeders, I have not decided if this is something I want to do, or not...this first time will answer alot. There is a lot of responsibility, and I don't ever want to do something that would harm Ariel or her pups. Thanks for the suggestions. BTW, anyone have any info on cheap crates? Thanks, Carla
