hi I start my female on purina lamb and rice puppy fooods about one month or so before I bred. and durning the pregancy I also add dry cottage cheese and one cooked egg after about 20 days because I feed my puppys and adults lamb and rice from pro plan. I have also given the nuring mother milk replacement as well this helped with a large litter nuring. hope this helps deb
