Again, I did a LOT of research on this as we were
pretty set on a Labradoodle, the final coat will not
come in until the dog is a year old. Please be careful
about this, the careless breeding of these dogs is
causing hundreds to be abandoned to shelters each
year. Remember you are paying between 800-2500 dollars
for a dog whose future characteristics cannot be
anticipated no matter what the parent's ancestry. I
don't mean to be mean, but these are really mutts.
There are plenty of mixed breeds in shelters that need
a good home. If you are set on this take a look at the
Australian sites. They originated the cross and
concentrate on multi gen dogs with the aim of being
able to standardize the breed so people can reasonably
know what to expect.
