Hi to all:
My family and I are considering adopting a Standard Poodle and a
Labradoodle.
In the past, we've had a toy poodle, and lastly, our loving Standard Poodle
who passed away a couple weeks ago from encephalitis.
Our family did very well with the poodles due to no shedding and being very
easy on our allergies.
It seems from what I'm reading, the Labradoodle is a dog that we are looking
for. It would make me feel better getting two dogs of slightly different
breeds due to health concerns, plus we would love a playful companion for
each.
We have two pets now, an African Gray Parrot and a Guinea Pig. Plus, I have
3 daughters. We love our pets...
I belong to the poodle list server and thought that it would be a good idea
to join this group as well.
I live near Waldorf, Md., and would like to hear from people regarding the
above allergy issues, as well as getting two dogs, etc...How would they get
along? Also, any breeders with 150 miles of Waldorf, Md who may possible
have pups (the 75% Poo, 25% Lab) ?
