tails if kinked - ratlike- to skinny - in other words ugly are docked.  poodles are born with kinked tails a lot and if this trait has carried through they need to go. when docking we leave a medium tail - enough to sit on cover things and give character.  the nice ones we leave. I've heard some doodle breeders just dock them all after the poodle?  YAHOO!
