Yes if you have a F1 which is a Lab to Poodle mix, will often shed. We have a multi-Generation Labradoodle, which is a labradoodle to labradoodle mix. They do cost much more. Ours is from Aussie, and cost $2600. Our dog has a curly wool coat, which is the coat type that rarely ever sheds. Fleese coat tend not to shed much either. Alot of time F1 tend to have what is called Hair coats, which often will shed. It mainly depends on what breed your dog took more traits from, the lab or the poodle. But if you were looking to get a non- shedding labradoodle, you should of gotten a Multi-Gen pup.
