My pup is 9 weeks old. I kept him in the crate yesterday and today I set up the exercise pen and kept him there although my daughter gave him company. So, whenever she was out of sight he cried out loud. I have a 4 years old GSD so I am thinking to let pup out in front of my GSD may be gradually. My shepherd sniffs him when he is on someones lap.

How old is your puppy? I ask because his behavior suggests he might have been removed from his mother and littermates too early. Is he sleeping at night? Are you keeping him in his crate most of the time he is awake? You might try confining him in the kitchen area with a baby gate. He may not like being alone.Good luck,Don in FloridaOn Apr 24, 2006, at 5:11 PM, soma b wrote:Hi All,
Our pup is crying inside the crate even it is for 2 seconds untill we are picking him up, He is sleeping inside of it very well though. My daughter was home toady so she managed to do that but from tomorrow it would be hard for me also I do not want to spoil him either, please help me. Should I ignore him even if he cries? Please.
Thanks in advance,
