Hi,
My name is Alexis and I am a 15 year old from Northern New Jersey. I
am a proud owner or two Labradoodles. My first one is Buddy. He is a
21 month old cream colored F1. His mother was a white poodle and his
father was a yellow lab. He weighs about 105 pounds and is all love.
Although we normally adopt our pets from shelters, we found Buddy at
a nearby pet store when he was just 8 weeks old and he was too cute
to resist. Thin, in February, we heard that our local animal shelter
had recieved a 10 month old F1 chocolate labradoodle who was given up
because her original owners had another dog that didn't like the
labradoodle. Because Buddy is such a wonderful companion, and we've
heard that most Labradoodles are, we decided to adopt Hallie. the two
dogs are just great together. It is hard having two large puppies in
the house together, and although sometimes they drive us nuts, we
never regret adopting them. Buddy is very obediant, but at the same
time, he is very stubborn and strong willed. We think that is because
he is just so smart. When he was 4 months old, we took him for
training at the American Canine association and enrolled him in the
basic obediance course, where he graduated 5th in his class... out of
5. Now he is traing to be a therapy dog. When Hallie calms down a
bit, we hope to train her to be a therapy dog too. My family and I
are just crazy about these two dogs, and cant imagine life without
them. they are just as faithful, loving and joyful as can be, and we
love them so much.
