Hi
Re thirst .... please always leave
a bowl of water available for him at all times , Doodles are very
active thirsty dogs and puppies can and do dehydrate very quickly
.
I am unable to say very much about dry foods
as my dogs only have it as a back up to their meals, and is something that
is always available to them. personally I think you should keep him on
what the breeder gave him and add little extras slowly as he gets used to
them , I wrote a mail earlier today here that would apply also to you
regarding feeding this should help you to http://www.rutlandmanor.com/Site/PuppyCare.aspx
please scroll down it really helped me with my puppies when they were
tiny.
good luck

Subject: [labradoodles] Food and
water
My 9 weeks old pup ( got him last week) still having the food the breeder gave me and staying very thursty. I am mixing little portion of wellness puppy food but it is too big for him, he is leaving those behind. So, I have two question- Is there any well balanced dy food for pup ( small size kibble)? How much water should I give him? Thanks in advance. runki
