Doodles get a lot of hair between the pads on their feet. I've heard that it is a good idea to keep this hair trimmed. This allows the feet to dry out better after they have been walking in water or damp grass and if the feet can't dry out, it could contribute to a fungus growth. You don't have to trim the top of the feet like a poodle. You can pull back and hold the hair at the leg just above the foot and trim the hair on and under the foot and let the hair you are holding back drape back down onto the foot so it doesn't look like a poodle cut. It doesn't have to be a really neat looking job, just get some of the hair out so it has a better chance to dry after getting wet.
