How did you find the ones you adopted? I'd been researching the breed for about 3 years and knew what I wanted in
a breeder (one who bred multi-gens, had been breeding for several
years, did all the testing, and was within driving distance of us were just
a few) When the time was finally right for us to get out dog, I chose one
who was closest to me that had a litter that fit into our time line.
Unfortunately that litter only produced one puppy. I was devastated to say
the least. I went back to the list of breeders I had considered to kind of
start the process over, see who had what litters due when. One of the
breeders, Jane at Lincoln Manor, had puppies ready from a larger litter and I
talked my husband into getting the puppy sooner rather than later, and that's
how we got Farley.
In my research, I googled Labradoodle breeders, used the Labradoodle
Associations lists of recommended breeders, and had been reading on
Labradoodle-dogs.net forum. ~Kelly~
