It look like to me that he has a nice fleece coat. I would leave it. The leath will help kept thing a way fome him. I will have to make sure that groomed on reg. basie but. I give my lab a bath every other week. and She get bu every other day. I take a baby wipe when we leave some places just becasue she has picked up to stuff while we have been there.
