I have to run in one minute but I have lots of advise for you.  I give my guys raw bones, the big cow leg ones.  I scoop out most of the marrow and give them the bones for an hour or two every couple of months.  I also ordered my self a dental scrapper and scrap their teeth.  No teeth cleaning for my guys.

Okay, so, Shaggy is now 11 months old on September
28th, and his breath is stinky. His back teeth have
some plaque on them and I have tried to brush his
teeth as well as give him Greenies. He also eats
apples as well.

Our vet, who happens to live on our street, when I
spoke to her about having the dog's teeth cleaned told
me that she advises against it because once you start
cleaning the dog's teeth the teeth actually get worse
and you have to clean them every 6 months to a year
after that. So.............she advised against it.
Does anyone have any advice on this matter? Should I
have his teeth cleaned?

On another aside, Shaggy's beard is getting brown
instead of gray. Any suggestions on how to keep his
beard from turning that color? Someone said there is
something you can put in his food that will take out
the stain. I constantly clean off his beard with baby
shampoo.

He's high maintenance, but I LOVE HIM!
